We're thrilled to share that our little slice of heaven can be found at 6488 Old State Road, Castorland NY 13620. Our location is up the long driveway, secluded in the woods, which is just how we like it. Don't worry, we're easy to spot – just keep an eye out for the sign at the road. If you're coming from State Route 812, we're only 2.5 miles away and nestled between the Resha Road and Third Road. We can't wait for you to visit our cozy hideaway!

Tell me about your materials. Are they ethically sourced?
We purchase all of our raw metals directly from a company out of New Mexico that sources from refiners on the LBMA. This means that materials are traceable and conflict free. Recycled materials are used whenever possible. Rio Grande strives to move beyond compliance in the responsible use of the shared resources that sustain our planet. Solar panels have powered our 180,000-square-foot facility since 2010, resulting in net-zero energy consumption. Ethical sourcing is a guiding principle for our business, from recycled fabrication metals to mine-to-market gemstones.

However, if you prefer your silver to stay shiny and bright, we have a few tips to help prevent tarnishing. First, store your jewelry in the air-tight baggie along with the anti-tarnish cloth that we provide. This will help keep oxygen and sulfur away from your jewelry.
Also, be sure to remove your jewelry before applying soaps, lotions, or before taking a dip in the pool. These substances can speed up the tarnishing process.
How should I store my jewelry?
Oxygen in the air will tarnish Sterling Silver, so properly storing your jewelry will help minimize that oxidation. Here are some storage tips:
Store individual pieces separately.

Can I wear my jewelry all the time?
We understand how much your jewelry means to you and we want it to a lifetime. The good news is that taking care of it is super easy, and we're here to help you with that! To keep your jewelry in great shape, avoid using household cleaning supplies and be mindful of certain foods that contain sulfur, like mustard, onions, and eggs. We know you love to look fabulous and use hairspray, lotion, and makeup, but it's best to put them on before wearing your jewelry. Lastly, don't forget to remove your jewelry before sunbathing or swimming - we want to help you keep those precious pieces sparkling and shining for years to come!
How do I clean my jewelry?
Do you love your jewelry to sparkle and shine? Here are some quick and easy tips to keep them looking their best! First, make sure to store each piece in a separate air tight baggie with the anti-tarnish tab provided. When it's time for a little extra shine, grab a non-abrasive yellow sunshine cloth to avoid scratches while cleaning and polishing. Just remember to rotate the cloth frequently for the best results! And when you're polishing, try to avoid intentionally oxidized areas to keep that special finish looking great. With these simple steps, your Sterling Roots jewelry will stay looking as good as new for years to come!
Order Issues & Shop Policies
What is your return policy?
We have a 24 hour return for store credit policy, which means you have 24 hours from delivery of your item to request a return. To be eligible for store credit, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return for store credit, you can contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, you are responsible for return shipping, insurance and tracking must be included. A shipping cost of $10 will be subtracted from your store credit. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not for store credit. If approved, you’ll have 24 hours to use your store credit for in stock items only and minus $10 shipping fee. Store credit is surrendered after the 24 hour period
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

When will I receive my first box?
We just wanted to let you know that your boxes will be shipped out on the 12th of each month. If the 12th happens to fall on a holiday, weekend, or bank holiday, no worries! Your boxes will be shipped on the next available business day. Typically, shipping takes about 2-4 days, so keep an eye out for your delivery to arrive soon.
