Collection: Hand-Forged Sterling Silver & Gold Earrings

Finished Individually

Sterling Roots earrings are hand-forged in our Adirondack studio using traditional silversmithing tools and time-honored techniques. Each pair is shaped and finished individually in sterling silver and, in select designs, high-karat gold. No two are ever exactly alike.

Forms vary in size, weight, and construction, including both fixed and articulated designs. Proportion, balance, and movement are considered at every stage, resulting in earrings designed to feel natural in wear and enduring in form.

Hand-Forged Form & Wear

Designed for balanced, effortless wear, our earrings range from quiet, minimal forms to more textured designs shaped through intentional handwork and surface refinement. Scale and weight are carefully considered so each piece moves naturally and sits comfortably throughout the day.

Edges are refined for comfort, forms are balanced for symmetry, and surfaces are finished to catch light without excess. Whether still or in motion, each pair is built to feel grounded, wearable, and considered.

For additional guidance on proportions and fit, see Size, Scale & Fit.

Materials & Studio Practice

Every pair of Sterling Roots earrings is made individually using sterling silver and, in select designs, gold. Traditional tools, forging work, and precision hand-finishing guide the process from start to finish.

This collection reflects current studio inventory. Availability changes as pieces are completed and collected, making each offering part of a living body of work shaped by ongoing studio practice.
