Sterling Silver and Gold Chains

Forged in our Adirondack studio, these chains are built one link at a time from solid sterling silver and gold. Each link is shaped, assembled, and finished by hand using traditional silversmithing tools. No pre-made components. Every chain reflects the rhythm of the bench and the intention of the maker.

Designed to complement our pendants or stand on their own, these chains carry a quiet strength and balance. Proportions are considered carefully, allowing the chain to drape naturally and move with the body. Some designs remain clean and linear; others carry subtle variation in form or surface, developed through hand-forging and finishing.

Every detail is intentional — weight balanced for daily wear, edges refined for comfort, surfaces finished to develop depth and soft reflection. Built for longevity, Sterling Roots chains are made to be worn often, collected once, and trusted to endure.
