How to Secure a Piece
All completed Sterling Roots work is purchased through the Sterling Roots website. Each listing reflects current availability and pricing, and a piece is secured only at the moment checkout is completed. Availability is real-time. Once a collector completes purchase, the piece is immediately removed from the site and is no longer offered for purchase. Because each creation is individually built, exact pieces are not duplicated or restocked in the same form.
Payment Methods
Checkout is completed securely through the Sterling Roots website. Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, and other standard options shown at checkout. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected during checkout, and payment is captured upon completion of the order. Sterling Roots does not hold inventory without completed payment.
In-Studio vs Online Purchasing
The website is the primary point of transaction for all completed work. For local collectors, a pay-at-pickup option is available during open studio hours, allowing payment in cash when collecting a piece in person. Many Sterling Roots creations are available only through shopping directly in the studio or at seasonal Adirondack locations, and may not appear online.
Order Confirmation Process
Once a purchase is completed, an automatic order confirmation is sent by email. This confirmation serves as the collector’s record of the acquired work and the reference for fulfillment. Shipping, delivery, or pickup details are communicated through subsequent automated emails as the order progresses. Collectors should retain confirmation for order tracking and future reference.
Availability, Accuracy & Finality
Availability shown on the website reflects current real-time inventory. When a piece is collected through checkout, it is immediately removed from availability and cannot be purchased again. Each creation is built individually. Sterling Roots does not replicate exact pieces or restock one-of-a-kind work in the same form.
Reference Pages for Purchase Decisions
Additional details related to ownership and decision-making are outlined on the Care, Materials, One of a Kind, and Availability pages. These references exist to support informed purchasing and provide clarity around the work offered through the studio.
