This chain was developed through direct hand-forged bench work using traditional goldsmithing tools in the Sterling Roots studio in the Adirondack Mountains. Each link was individually formed, twisted, and soldered before being integrated into the full length of the chain.

The soldering of each connection point reinforces the durability of the piece while maintaining consistency across the entire structure. The twist pattern was applied with control to ensure uniformity from end to end.

The clasp was fabricated by hand and fitted to align with the scale and proportion of the chain, completing the piece with structural continuity.

This work reflects disciplined bench practice: precise link formation, controlled repetition, and deliberate assembly carried out through traditional methods.
