This one-of-a-kind pendant is built with weight, texture, and sculptural form. Hand-forged from heavy gauge Argentium silver, the feather carries layered surface detail enhanced by fused 18k gold accents, dimensional stamping, and river stone-inspired silverwork toward the tip.

Scale & Substance

Measuring almost 2.5 inches in length, this pendant carries a strong statement presence with substantial weight and depth. The solid feather form creates a defined vertical structure, allowing the contours and surface details to remain visually prominent from every angle.

Its heavier gauge construction reinforces both durability and visual authority.

Stone & Material Character

This piece is defined entirely by its metalwork. Argentium silver forms the foundation, carrying dimensional texture and hand-shaped contour throughout the feather.

Fused Argentium dust detailing creates layered tonal variation across the surface, while 18k gold bead accents introduce warmth and contrast against the oxidized silver tones. Near the feather tip, sculpted “river rock” elements add depth and organic structure to the composition.

Hand stamping throughout the feather reinforces movement and natural texture within the metal.

Studio Process

This pendant is bench-forged through extensive handwork at the studio bench. The feather is individually formed from heavy gauge Argentium silver, then shaped, textured, and refined to create dimensional movement.

18k gold accents are fused directly into the composition, while Argentium dust detailing and hand stamping are layered into the surface through controlled heat and tool work. The final structure is oxidized and refined to emphasize depth and contrast throughout the piece.
