One-of-a-Kind Argentium & 18K Gold Rock Pathway Pendant

Forged by hand in our Adirondack jewelry studio, this one-of-a-kind pendant is built in Argentium silver with a solid 18k gold accent. Designed and constructed by Shane at the bench, the piece features a reticulated surface that evokes a rugged rock pathway — textured, dimensional, and grounded in elemental form.

Every surface is shaped through controlled heat and disciplined tool work, resulting in hand-forged sterling silver jewelry that carries both visual depth and substantial weight.

Form & Proportion

Oval in shape, this pendant is built with presence. The reticulated texture creates a terrain-like surface across the face, while the 18k gold accent traces the pathway with intentional contrast.

Its weight is noticeable — solid in hand and grounded on the body. The oval silhouette keeps the form balanced and centered, allowing the texture and gold detail to remain the focal point.

A generously sized bail is forged to accommodate larger handmade chains, reinforcing both scale and structural integrity.

Materials & Method

This piece is constructed in Argentium silver, selected for its strength, brightness, and enduring finish. Through a controlled reticulation process, the surface is heated and manipulated to create organic ridges and valleys — each pattern formed naturally and never repeated.

The 18k gold accent is individually applied and secured, creating warmth against the silver terrain. The combination of high-karat gold and reticulated silver reflects intentional metalwork rooted in traditional bench practice.
