These one-of-a-kind sterling silver earrings are built with vertical flow and defined structure, combining Black Jack turquoise with hand-formed silver elements in a balanced, elongated composition. Each component is placed with intention, creating a clear top-to-bottom progression that gives the piece both movement and strength.

Scale & Substance

Measuring approximately 2 inches in length, these earrings carry a noticeable presence while maintaining a controlled, wearable profile. The vertical layout draws the eye downward, creating a natural line that frames the face.

The structure is layered—bead, stone, and feather—allowing each section to hold its own visual weight while contributing to the overall form.

Stone & Material Character

Freeform Black Jack turquoise introduces depth with its distinct matrix and natural variation. Each stone is set in a serrated bezel, enhancing its rugged character and securing it within the composition.

Above the stone, stacked sterling silver bead accents create transition and spacing. Below, the handstamped feather detail extends the form, bringing texture and directional movement to the piece.

The sterling silver carries a worked surface that interacts with light, reinforcing the natural qualities of both metal and stone.

Studio Process

These earrings are bench-forged silver, built through precise handwork at the studio bench. Each element is individually formed—from the bead accents to the feather—then assembled to maintain alignment and flow.

The feather is handstamped and shaped, while the bezels are formed specifically to each stone. The full structure is refined to ensure balance, durability, and consistent movement when worn.
