One-of-a-Kind Blue Flash Labradorite Pendant in Sterling Silver

Forged by hand in solid sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind pendant features a vivid blue flash labradorite framed by a sculpted, wave-like backplate. Built in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, each element is shaped, formed, and assembled at the bench with disciplined metalwork.

Oxidized and hand-finished, this pendant reflects heirloom quality silver construction and intentional design.

Form & Proportion

Measuring approximately 1.5 inches in length, the pendant carries noticeable presence while remaining balanced at the collarbone.

The backplate flows in a wave-like silhouette, introducing movement and contour behind the stone. This sculpted form enhances the labradorite’s natural flash, allowing light to interact dynamically with both metal and stone.

A single round wire wraps the bezel as an accent, adding refined dimension and subtle structure without overwhelming the composition.

The result is a handcrafted silver pendant with controlled scale and fluid line.

Materials & Method

The labradorite is selected for strong blue flash and depth, shifting in tone as it moves through light. It is secured within a hand-formed bezel, framed by a continuous round wire accent that reinforces the setting.

The wave backplate is forged and shaped from solid sterling silver, then oxidized to deepen contrast and emphasize the contours of the metalwork.

Every component — from bezel formation to final polish — is completed in our Adirondack jewelry studio through traditional bench practice.
