Built with stacked black onyx cabochons, sculptural silver accents, and dimensional metalwork, the pendant explores balance through elevation, texture, and form.

Scale & Substance

Measuring approximately 2 inches in length, this pendant has a substantial vertical presence while maintaining balanced proportions. The layered arrangement of the stones creates visual depth, allowing each element to emerge naturally from the composition.

Its sculptural silhouette gives the pendant dimension from every angle, making it equally compelling worn or displayed.

Stone & Material Character

The composition features two natural black onyx cabochons arranged in a layered Boulder Ridge design. A rectangular black onyx forms the foundation of the pendant, while an offset oval black onyx is elevated above it, creating the collection's signature sense of stacked movement.

The rectangular stone is secured in a straight bezel, while the oval black onyx is framed within a gallery bezel that enhances its depth and architectural character. Hand-forged swirls, sterling silver bead accents, and a sculptural flower are integrated throughout the design, adding texture and organic movement that contrast beautifully with the smooth, polished surfaces of the stones.

The oxidized finish emphasizes every forged detail, highlighting the depth of the silverwork.

Studio Process

This pendant is bench-forged silver, constructed through extensive handwork at the studio bench. Each bezel is individually formed to its stone before the layered composition is carefully assembled to create depth, balance, and structural integrity.

The sculptural swirls, sterling silver bead accents, and hand-forged flower are individually shaped and positioned to complement the natural geometry of the stacked stones. Every component is refined by hand to create a unified composition that reflects the Boulder Ridge Collection's layered aesthetic.
