Stone & Material Character

A rough rainbow moonstone anchors the composition, framed by a heavy hammered perimeter that amplifies its natural surface and shifting light. Alongside it, black tourmaline and black onyx introduce contrast—deep, grounded tones that balance the luminosity of the moonstone.

Each stone is set in a serrated bezel, reinforcing the raw, natural character of the materials. A flowing leaf accent wraps around the black onyx, adding directional movement within the structure.

Studio Process

This ring is bench-forged silver, shaped and assembled through deliberate handwork at the studio bench. The Boulder Ridge formation is achieved by building upward—layering each stone setting at intentional angles to create elevation and depth.

Bezels are formed to each individual stone, while the surrounding elements are shaped, forged, and integrated to maintain both strength and cohesion. The hammered perimeter and sculpted accents reflect controlled tool work and precise placement.
