Boulder Ridge Turquoise Leaf Sterling Silver Pendant

This one-of-a-kind sterling silver pendant is built with elevation, layering, and sculptural detail. Two turquoise stones are arranged in the signature Boulder Ridge formation—stacked at an angle to create depth and movement—while a leaf overlay and dimensional silver elements complete the composition.

Substantial in both presence and structure, this pendant reflects the natural formation of stones along a mountain ridge, translated into a refined, bench-forged silver form.

Scale & Substance

Measuring approximately 1.75 inches, this pendant carries a strong, grounded presence. The layered construction creates vertical depth, while the larger bail supports pairing with heavier chains for balanced wear.

The composition holds visual weight through both stone scale and dimensional silverwork.

Stone & Material Character

The lower stone is a marquise-shaped turquoise with warm orange and yellow tones, set in a serrated bezel and accented with a zig-zag wire detail along its edge—introducing texture and directional contrast.

Above it, a raindrop-shaped turquoise displays blue and green tones, set at an angle to create elevation within the design. A sculpted leaf overlays this upper stone, adding movement and natural form.

At the base, a heavy sterling silver “rock” element anchors the composition, reinforcing the Boulder Ridge structure.

Studio Process

This pendant is bench-forged silver, constructed through layered handwork at the studio bench. Each stone is set at a deliberate angle to create a multi-level formation, building upward in alignment with the Boulder Ridge concept.

Bezels are formed to each stone, while the leaf, wire accents, and dimensional silver elements are shaped and integrated through controlled tool work. The final composition reflects precision in balance, spacing, and structure.
