This one-of-a-kind sterling silver cuff is built with bold simplicity, substantial stone presence, and refined surface texture. A freeform chrysoprase is positioned east-west across the top of the cuff, creating a broad focal point that highlights the stone's natural character while complementing the forged silver beneath.
Positioned within the Signature tier, this piece reflects disciplined bench-forged silver work and an intentional balance between stone and metal.
Scale & Substance
The centerpiece measures approximately 1.5 inches across, creating a strong horizontal presence that anchors the design. The east-west orientation broadens the visual profile of the bracelet while maintaining a comfortable and balanced fit on the wrist.
The cuff structure provides stability and strength, allowing the stone and textured silverwork to remain the focus of the composition.
Stone & Material Character
The freeform chrysoprase displays vibrant natural color and organic shaping, giving the bracelet a distinctive presence. Set in a serrated bezel, the stone is framed with detail that enhances its natural contours while adding depth to the setting.
The sterling silver cuff features hand-hammered textures and lined hammer patterns throughout the surface, creating movement and variation across the metalwork. These textures interact with light to emphasize the handcrafted nature of the piece.
Studio Process
This cuff is bench-forged silver, constructed through detailed handwork at the studio bench. The cuff is formed and textured using repeated hammer work to create both the lined and dimensional surface patterns.
The serrated bezel is shaped specifically to the chrysoprase and integrated into the structure with careful attention to balance, proportion, and durability. Final finishing preserves the character of the hammer marks while refining the overall form.
