Crazy Lace Agate Heavy-Duty Sterling Silver Chain Link Bracelet

This one-of-a-kind sterling silver bracelet brings together substantial chainmaking and three free-form, rose-cut Crazy Lace Agates. Each stone is individually set and framed in finely twisted sterling silver, while heavy-duty molten links carry the composition around the wrist with weight, movement, and unmistakable hand-forged character.

Built as an articulated statement bracelet, the design moves between natural stone and substantial silverwork, allowing both materials to carry equal presence.

Scale & Substance

Designed to fit a wrist circumference of approximately 6.25–7.5 inches, this chain link bracelet offers a degree of adjustability through its articulated construction and handmade clasp.

Three substantial stone settings establish the structure of the bracelet. Between them, heavy molten sterling silver links provide physical and visual weight while allowing the bracelet to move naturally around the wrist.

This is a substantial piece built to feel as significant as it looks.

Stone & Material Character

Three free-form Crazy Lace Agates are arranged throughout the bracelet, each displaying its own natural patterning and individual outline. Their rose-cut surfaces introduce facets that catch the light and add dimension to the intricate movement within the stones.

Each agate is secured within a straight bezel and surrounded by a finely twisted sterling silver rope border. The precise twisted detail provides a textured transition between the smooth stone settings and the more organic character of the heavy molten links.

Studio Process

This bracelet is bench-forged silver, constructed component by component at the Sterling Roots studio.

Each straight bezel is individually fabricated for its free-form agate and finished with a fine twisted sterling silver perimeter. Between the settings are our heavy-duty molten links, created by working molten sterling silver into individual forms and then rolling the metal through our rolling mill. The resulting links retain an irregular, free-form character rather than a uniform manufactured profile.

Each link is then shaped, refined, and incorporated into the bracelet by hand. A hand-forged sterling silver clasp completes the construction.

The finished bracelet is oxidized and selectively refined, allowing the darker recesses to emphasize the twisted borders, link contours, and details of the silverwork.
