One-of-a-Kind Double Labradorite Pendant in Sterling Silver

This one-of-a-kind pendant is forged in solid sterling silver in our Adirondack jewelry studio. Two blue flash labradorite stones are stacked in a balanced vertical composition — an oval cabochon set horizontally above a freeform labradorite below. Each element is individually formed and secured at the bench using traditional silversmithing tools and torch work.

Built with heirloom quality silver and intentional structure, this pendant carries both movement and depth.

Form & Proportion

Measuring just over 1.5 inches in length, the pendant is designed with strong vertical alignment while maintaining visual balance.

The top oval labradorite is set horizontally, creating contrast against the organic line of the lower freeform stone. The bottom lab anchors the composition, framed by a serrated bezel that adds texture and definition.

Three sterling silver beads are positioned on either side of the centerline, introducing symmetry and subtle dimension. The result is a handcrafted silver pendant that sits centered at the collarbone with noticeable presence and controlled weight.

Materials & Method

Both labradorite stones display vivid blue flash that shifts with movement and light. Each cabochon is individually selected for clarity, depth, and tonal contrast.

The lower stone is secured within a serrated bezel, creating a tactile edge that complements the natural character of the labradorite. The upper stone is framed with a twisted rope accent, forged and formed by hand to introduce refined detail.

Constructed entirely from solid sterling silver, this pendant reflects disciplined bench work developed through generations of traditional silversmithing practice.
