Forged by hand in solid sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind pendant features a luminous electric blue dichroic glass stone framed within a sculpted moon-inspired setting. Built in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, the piece is shaped and assembled at the bench with disciplined metalwork.
The glass shifts with light, revealing layers of electric blue tones that move across the surface as the pendant changes angle.
Form & Proportion
Measuring just over 1 inch in length, the pendant offers a compact yet striking presence.
The round dichroic glass stone anchors the design, while a beaded crescent moon setting curves around the perimeter, creating a celestial silhouette. The beadwork introduces texture and rhythm, giving the pendant dimension without overwhelming the stone.
Its scale allows it to sit cleanly at the collarbone while maintaining visual impact through color and structure.
Materials & Method
The electric blue dichroic glass displays shifting layers of color created through the glassmaking process. As light interacts with the surface, the tone moves between deep blue and brighter flashes of electric color.
The stone is secured within a hand-built sterling silver bezel, framed by individually formed bead detailing that shapes the moon-inspired form. The silver is oxidized and hand-finished to deepen contrast and highlight the contours of the metalwork.
