These one-of-a-kind sterling silver earrings are built with form, texture, and dimensional detail. Inspired by the natural structure of fern growth, each frond is hand-sawn and forged to create depth and movement, finished with a 14k gold filled accent that introduces contrast and balance.

Scale & Substance
Measuring approximately 2 inches in length, these earrings carry a defined vertical presence while maintaining a controlled, wearable weight. The elongated frond shape creates a natural line, allowing the piece to move fluidly while holding its structure.
The balance between silver and gold elements gives the design both visual weight and clarity.
Stone & Material Character
The sterling silver fern fronds are shaped with dimensional ridges and contour, creating texture that interacts with light and shadow. The oxidized finish enhances this depth, bringing forward the structure of each segment.
A 14k gold filled bead sits near the top of each frond, introducing warmth and contrast against the darker silver tones, reinforcing the layered material composition.
Studio Process
These earrings are bench-forged silver, constructed through detailed handwork at the studio bench. Each fern frond is hand-sawn, then shaped and refined to create dimensional structure and flow.
The gold filled bead is integrated into the design, positioned to balance the vertical form. Final finishing and oxidation bring depth and definition to the surface.
