Forged by hand in solid sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind ring features a free form turquoise cabochon set in a clean, straight bezel. Built in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, the ring is shaped and assembled at the bench with disciplined metalwork.
The design combines natural stone character with structured silverwork, resulting in hand-forged sterling silver jewelry with heirloom quality silver integrity.
Form & Proportion
The free form turquoise introduces an organic silhouette, creating a natural focal point that differs from traditional symmetry.
A double shank supports the setting — one twisted and one round — bringing contrast in both texture and line. The band splits at the top, allowing the ring to sit comfortably while maintaining a strong, balanced structure.
The combination of mixed shank styles and free form stone creates visual movement while keeping the overall composition grounded.
Materials & Method
The turquoise cabochon is individually selected for its natural shape and color variation. It is secured within a hand-formed straight bezel built from solid sterling silver.
The dual shank is forged and shaped at the bench, with one side twisted for texture and the other kept smooth and round for contrast. The split construction at the top is intentionally formed to enhance both comfort and structural balance.
