Forged by hand in solid sterling silver, this one-of-a-kind pendant features a periwinkle blue lace agate heart framed with sculptural silver detailing. Built in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, each element is shaped, set, and refined at the bench.
The composition combines soft color with structured metalwork, resulting in hand-forged sterling silver jewelry with heirloom quality silver presence.
Form & Proportion
Measuring approximately 1.5 inches in length, the pendant carries a balanced silhouette anchored by the heart-shaped stone.
The lace agate displays soft periwinkle tones with natural banding that flows through the stone. A hand-forged flower is positioned toward the base, adding dimension and grounding the design. Along the opposite sides, bead accents rise upward, creating visual movement and symmetry across the form.
The overall structure remains cohesive and intentional, allowing each detail to contribute without overwhelming the stone.
Materials & Method
The blue lace agate heart is individually selected for its color and natural patterning. It is secured within a hand-formed scalloped bezel built from solid sterling silver.
A hand-forged flower element is integrated into the lower portion of the design, while bead accents are applied along the sides to create rhythm and structure. The bail is formed from patterned wire, continuing the decorative language through the top of the pendant.
The piece is oxidized and hand-finished to highlight depth, texture, and contrast throughout the metalwork.
