Substantial sterling silver and disciplined surface work define this heavy-duty men’s cuff. Built from thick-gauge silver and measuring approximately half an inch wide, the bracelet features deeply dapped texture running along both edges from tip to tip. A smooth band of sterling silver remains through the center, creating deliberate contrast between forged texture and clean metal. Built for an 8–8.5 inch wrist, this is a one-of-a-kind collector cuff with significant weight and presence.
Architectural Form & Scale
The cuff begins with a thick-gauge sterling silver foundation approximately half an inch wide.
Its substantial profile provides the surface area needed to establish three distinct visual zones: a smooth central band bordered on either side by deeply textured edges. The dapped pattern follows the entire length of the cuff from one tip to the other, reinforcing the curvature and continuous structure of the bracelet.
The result is a broad, grounded form with weight distributed evenly around the wrist.
Sterling Silver Composition & Visual Impact
The design is driven entirely by sterling silver and the contrast created within its surface.
Repeated dapping marks create rounded impressions along both outer edges, introducing depth, shadow, and irregular reflections. Between them, the center remains smooth, providing a strong visual break and emphasizing the dimensional character of the surrounding texture.
Oxidation settles into the recessed areas, bringing definition to each impression while allowing the smooth center to stand prominently against the darker details.
Forging Discipline
The surface of this hand-forged silver cuff bracelet is developed individually at the silversmithing bench.
Using a dapping tool, the metal is worked along both edges from tip to tip. The placement and depth of each impression are controlled to establish a continuous texture while preserving the uninterrupted sterling silver running through the center.
Working this pattern into thick-gauge silver requires deliberate hammer control and careful shaping to maintain the cuff's curvature, proportion, and substantial structure. The finished piece is oxidized and hand refined to reveal the full depth of the metalwork.

Collector Statement
This cuff is an exercise in material, repetition, and restraint. Its substantial gauge establishes the weight of the piece, while the contrast between deeply dapped edges and uninterrupted silver gives the design its architectural clarity.
The heavy construction and extensive hand-worked surface position it firmly within collector-level Adirondack artisan jewelry. It is a substantial silver bracelet designed to acquire character through years of wear and carry the physical permanence expected of generational work.
