This one-of-a-kind pendant pairs the shifting color of Labradorite with a nature-inspired hummingbird design, built by hand in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools. The Labradorite reveals flashes of green and blue as the stone moves through the light, while the hummingbird detail brings a distinctly organic element to the silverwork. An oxidized finish settles into the recessed areas, emphasizing the details and giving the pendant greater depth and definition.

Form & Proportion

Measuring approximately 1.25 inches in length, the pendant has a compact profile while maintaining strong visual detail. The natural green-blue flash of the Labradorite changes with movement and light, creating contrast against the oxidized sterling silver and the defined hummingbird form.

Materials & Method

Built from solid sterling silver, the pendant is formed, assembled, and refined entirely at the bench. Traditional silversmithing techniques shape the metalwork around the Labradorite and hummingbird design, while oxidation is intentionally applied to deepen the shadows and reveal the finer details within the silver.
