Hand-forged in our Adirondack jewelry studio, this one-of-a-kind silver jewelry piece features a freeform lapis lazuli framed within a sculptural sterling silver composition. A forged feather rises along one side of the setting, accompanied by ascending bead accents that add rhythm and vertical movement. Built with a structured quadruple band and dimensional overhand bezel, the ring reflects disciplined bench work and intentional design.
This piece is singular and will not be recreated.
Form & Wearability
Measuring just over 1.5 inches from tip to tip, the ring carries strong vertical presence while remaining balanced on the hand. The deep blue lapis lazuli provides visual weight, contrasted by the sculpted feather and bead elements that travel along one side of the setting.
A quadruple band shank anchors the ring, offering strength and stability for the larger scale design. The band tapers for comfort, allowing the ring to sit securely without excess bulk. Subtle hammer detailing across the shank introduces texture and light variation.
Currently size 6.75, the ring can be resized up to 7.75 upon request.
Material & Studio Practice
Crafted from artisan sterling silver, this handcrafted silver ring was shaped, soldered, and refined using traditional silversmithing tools in our Adirondack jewelry studio.
The feather was individually forged and integrated into the structure of the ring, while bead accents were placed in ascending sequence to reinforce the upward movement of the design. The overhand bezel adds dimensional depth beneath the stone, strengthening the visual structure of the setting.
Hammer detailing across the band reflects direct bench work and reinforces the hand-forged nature of the piece.
