This one-of-a-kind chain link bracelet brings together handwoven silver structure and deep blue lapis lazuli in a balanced, architectural composition. A central woven link anchors the design, flanked by elongated lapis stones that introduce bold color and contrast. Forged in our Adirondack artisan jewelry studio, this collector silver bracelet is built with intention, movement, and presence.
Architectural Form & Scale
At the center of the bracelet sits a handwoven sterling silver link, constructed with precision to create a dense, dimensional focal point. Hand-forged end caps frame this woven element, reinforcing its structure and visual weight.
On either side, elongated oval lapis lazuli stones extend the composition outward, creating a strong horizontal flow across the wrist. The bracelet transitions into a chain link structure, finished with a refined S-hook closure that integrates seamlessly into the design.
The proportions are balanced—substantial at the center, fluid toward the edges—allowing the piece to move naturally while maintaining a grounded presence.
Stone Composition & Visual Impact
The lapis lazuli stones are selected for their deep, saturated blue tones and natural variation. Set in serrated bezels, each stone is framed with texture that enhances its presence against the oxidized silver.
The placement of the stones on either side of the woven center creates symmetry and contrast—soft, polished stone against structured metalwork. The blue of the lapis introduces depth and richness, while the oxidized silver provides a darkened backdrop that sharpens the visual clarity of both materials.
Forging Discipline
This bracelet was built entirely at the bench using traditional silversmithing tools and disciplined handwork.
The central woven link was constructed strand by strand, forming a tight, interlocking structure. End caps were forged and fitted to secure the weave, while each lapis setting was individually built with serrated bezels to match the contours of the stones.
The chain links and S-hook clasp were formed and assembled by hand, ensuring both durability and continuity throughout the piece. The oxidized finish enhances depth and defines each structural element.
