This sterling silver men’s cuff is defined by a strong central line of texture surrounded by smooth, uninterrupted silver. Measuring approximately half an inch wide, the freeform cuff features hand-dapped impressions running continuously from tip to tip. Oxidation deepens the individual marks and gives the restrained design greater dimension, creating a one-of-a-kind cuff built around texture, contrast, and traditional handwork.

Architectural Form & Scale

The cuff is formed with an approximately half-inch-wide profile, creating a balanced presence across the wrist.

Its freeform perimeter gives the bracelet subtle organic movement rather than rigid geometry. Through the center, a continuous band of dapped texture travels from one end of the cuff to the other. Smooth sterling silver remains along both outer edges, framing the textured center and giving the design a clear architectural structure.

The division between smooth and worked surfaces creates visual width while maintaining a streamlined profile.

Sterling Silver Composition & Visual Impact

The center of the cuff carries the strongest visual detail.

Repeated dapped impressions create a dimensional pathway through the silver, producing alternating highlights and shadows as the bracelet moves. The untouched outer sections provide deliberate contrast, allowing the central texture to remain clearly defined.

Oxidation settles into the recessed marks, emphasizing their depth against the smoother, hand-refined sterling silver surrounding them.

Forging Discipline

This hand-forged silver cuff bracelet is developed through traditional bench techniques.

Each dapped impression is individually formed along the center of the cuff, requiring control of placement and hammer pressure to carry the texture continuously from tip to tip. The surrounding silver is preserved as a smooth border, creating a defined transition between the two surfaces.

The freeform perimeter is shaped and refined by hand before the cuff is oxidized to reveal the depth and rhythm of the finished metalwork.
