Built with substantial weight and a strong architectural profile, this men’s cuff is formed from thick-gauge sterling silver and defined by a hand-stamped chevron pattern running through the surface. A heavy sterling silver bar reaches across the center top, adding another level of dimension and structure. Designed for a 7.5–8 inch wrist, this is a one-of-a-kind collector cuff with the scale and permanence of generational silverwork.
Architectural Form & Scale
The foundation is a broad, heavy-gauge sterling silver cuff engineered around substantial material presence.
Across the center top, a separate sterling silver bar reaches over the primary structure, creating a strong horizontal element against the directional chevron pattern beneath it. The raised bar introduces depth and gives the cuff a layered architectural profile.
Its substantial width and thickness distribute the visual weight across the wrist, creating a grounded piece with commanding presence from every angle.
Sterling Silver Composition & Visual Impact
The design relies entirely on sterling silver, texture, and dimensional contrast.
A chevron-like pattern is individually hand stamped into the surface, creating repeating directional marks that move across the cuff. The raised silver bar interrupts that rhythm at the center, establishing a clear focal point within the composition.
Oxidation settles into the stamped impressions and around the dimensional elements, increasing contrast and allowing the pattern to remain clearly defined against the surrounding silver.
Forging Discipline
This hand-forged silver cuff bracelet is constructed through traditional silversmithing techniques at the bench.
The thick sterling silver foundation is formed to its intended wrist profile before the surface is developed through individual hammer-driven stamp impressions. Consistent spacing, depth, and direction are controlled by hand to establish the repeating chevron pattern.
The substantial center bar is shaped and integrated into the upper structure, requiring careful alignment to maintain the strong geometry of the finished cuff. The piece is then oxidized and selectively refined to bring definition to the metalwork.
