Built with substantial weight and a distinctly masculine profile, this heavy-duty men’s ring is hand-forged from thick-gauge sterling silver in our Adirondack foothills studio. Measuring approximately 5/16 inch wide, the solid band features hand-applied markings designed to reference the familiar increments of a traditional tape measure.
The result is a straightforward, tool-inspired design built around solid silver, substantial weight, and traditional bench work.
Form & Wearability
This ring has a very thick, solid construction designed to feel substantial on the hand. At approximately 5/16 inch wide, its visual presence comes from the weight and depth of the sterling silver rather than added ornamentation.
Tape measure-inspired marks travel across the surface of the band, giving the ring its distinctive utilitarian character. The silver is oxidized to darken the recessed markings and create stronger contrast against the surface of the ring.
This ring is a size 11.75 and cannot be resized.

Hand-forged in our Adirondack jewelry studio, this men’s sterling silver ring draws its character from familiar measuring tools and the marks associated with working by hand.
Heavy-gauge sterling silver creates the foundation. The tape measure-inspired details are applied across the surface before the finished ring is oxidized, allowing the darker patina to settle into the markings and make the pattern more visible.
There is no stone or unnecessary embellishment—the design is defined by weight, proportion, metal, and tool-inspired detail.
