Wrist Circumference

Built from heavy-gauge sterling silver, this men’s cuff takes its design language from one of the most recognizable tools of the trades: the tape measure. Hand-worked markings travel across the substantial silver surface, creating a strong linear pattern emphasized by oxidation. Approximately half an inch wide and built in multiple wrist circumferences, this collector cuff combines substantial scale with a distinctly tool-inspired design.

Architectural Form & Scale

The cuff is constructed from thick-gauge sterling silver and measures approximately half an inch wide, giving it considerable presence without overwhelming the wrist.

Its long, uninterrupted surface provides the foundation for the tape measure-inspired markings, allowing the pattern to travel continuously around the cuff. The substantial gauge gives the bracelet the physical weight and structural presence expected from a heavy-duty men’s piece.

Each cuff is built for a specific wrist circumference. Select the appropriate size when ordering for the intended fit.

Sterling Silver Composition & Visual Impact

The design centers on a series of markings created to evoke the visual language of a traditional tape measure.

The linear details create rhythm across the silver, while variations within the markings break up the broad surface and give the cuff its distinctive character. Oxidation darkens the recessed details, making the pattern stand prominently against the surrounding sterling silver.

The result is direct and recognizable: a substantial silver cuff informed by tools, workmanship, and the precision of making by hand.

Forging Discipline

Each cuff is built at the silversmithing bench from heavy-gauge sterling silver.

The metal is shaped to establish the proper curvature and wrist circumference, while the tape measure-inspired details are developed across the surface with careful attention to spacing and proportion.

After the metalwork is complete, the cuff is oxidized and selectively refined to increase contrast and clearly define the markings.
