This one-of-a-kind sterling silver pendant is built with scale and layered composition, featuring ocean jasper and tiger iron arranged in a vertical formation. A sculpted leaf in pure silver overlays the stones, creating a unified structure that moves with intention across the surface.
Substantial in both size and presence, this piece stands firmly within the Signature tier through its dimensional form and controlled bench-forged silver work.
Scale & Substance
Measuring just over 2 inches, this pendant carries a strong, statement presence. The vertical arrangement creates length and flow, while the layered construction adds depth and visual weight.
The scale allows the piece to stand independently, with structure and proportion guiding the overall form.
Stone & Material Character
At the top, a freeform ocean jasper displays a predominantly white surface with brown and green inclusions, offering natural variation and pattern. Below, a freeform tiger iron cabochon introduces darker, banded tones, creating contrast and grounding the composition.
A pure silver leaf overlays both stones along one side, introducing a sculptural element that ties the composition together. The oxidized sterling silver deepens contrast, allowing both the stones and the leaf detail to stand forward.
Studio Process
This pendant is bench-forged silver, constructed through layered handwork at the studio bench. Each stone is set in alignment, while the leaf element is formed and shaped in pure silver to create a flowing overlay across the surface.
The composition is assembled with attention to balance, spacing, and structure, ensuring the pendant maintains both durability and visual cohesion.
