This one-of-a-kind ring features a freeform rose-cut Crazy Lace Agate with predominantly orange coloring and a small greenish-yellow accent along one side. The stone is set in a clean straight bezel and framed by a finely twisted sterling silver rope border, adding texture and definition around its irregular form. A single sterling silver shank keeps the construction balanced and allows the stone to remain the focus.

Hand-forged entirely at the bench in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, this ring pairs the intricate natural pattern of Crazy Lace Agate with refined, heirloom quality silver.

Form & Proportion

The freeform shape of the Crazy Lace Agate gives the ring an organic profile, while its rose-cut surface adds dimension across the face of the stone. Rich orange dominates the cabochon, interrupted by a smaller greenish-yellow area along one side that gives this particular stone its distinctive character.

The twisted rope border follows the stone's perimeter, creating a finely textured transition between the agate and the simple single shank beneath it.

Materials & Method

The Crazy Lace Agate is individually fitted within a hand-formed straight bezel and surrounded by a twisted sterling silver rope accent. Each component is formed, fitted, soldered, and refined at the bench using traditional silversmithing techniques.

The single sterling silver shank provides a straightforward foundation for the more detailed stone setting, creating a balanced profile with strong visual presence.
