This Paraiba kyanite pendant features an oval cabochon secured in a straight sterling silver bezel. The restrained setting keeps the stone’s blue-green color central to the design.
Hand-forged swirl accents rise asymmetrically along one upper side of the setting. These curves continue into the bail connection, integrating the pendant’s suspension point into the composition rather than treating it as a separate element.
The pendant measures approximately 1.25 inches in total length. Hand-forged by Sterling Roots in the foothills of the Adirondacks, it combines a direct oval setting with open silverwork and an intentionally offset structure. This is a one-of-a-kind Sterling Roots work.

Care
Store the pendant in a dry place when it is not being worn. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture, household chemicals, chlorine, cosmetics, heat, and abrasive surfaces. Gently polish the sterling silver with a soft jewelry-polishing cloth, taking care around the kyanite and curved details. Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
