Hand-forged in our Adirondack jewelry studio, this one-of-a-kind silver jewelry piece features an elongated oval labradorite with a distinct purple flash. Set in sterling silver, the stone is framed by a twisted rope border and secured within a straight bezel, with an overhand backplate adding depth and structure. This pendant is a singular studio release.

Form & Wearability

Measuring approximately 1.75 inches in length, the pendant carries an elongated vertical presence while remaining balanced at the neckline. The labradorite reveals flashes of purple as it moves through light, creating shifting depth within a structured form.

The twisted rope border introduces texture and contrast around the stone, while the straight bezel maintains a clean, defined edge. The overhand backplate adds dimensional lift without increasing bulk. A large bail allows the pendant to pair with a range of chains, from fine to more substantial.

Material & Studio Practice

Crafted from artisan sterling silver, this handcrafted silver pendant was shaped and assembled using traditional silversmithing tools in our Adirondack jewelry studio.

The bezel was formed to follow the stone precisely, while the rope border was integrated to frame the labradorite with controlled texture. The backplate was cut and finished with an overhand edge to create depth and a defined perimeter.
