This one-of-a-kind sterling silver chain link bracelet brings together three rainbow moonstones with substantial hand-forged concho work. Each moonstone is set individually in silver, alternating with oval conchos carrying raised S-shaped swirls to create a continuous rhythm of stone, texture, and forged form around the wrist.
Built entirely in solid sterling silver and finished with a handmade clasp, this bracelet reflects the structure and movement of traditional chainmaking with a distinctly sculptural presence.
Scale & Substance
Built for a wrist circumference of approximately 6.25–6.75 inches, the bracelet is composed of individually articulated sections rather than a rigid centerpiece.
Three moonstone settings alternate with sterling silver conchos, distributing the visual weight across the wrist. Each component is connected by individual sterling silver jump rings, allowing the bracelet to move and settle naturally while maintaining the substance of its forged construction.
Stone & Material Character
Three genuine rainbow moonstone cabochons form the stone elements of the bracelet. Each is secured within a straight bezel and set against a slightly extended sterling silver backplate, leaving a deliberate silver perimeter visible around the stone.
Between the moonstones are oval sterling silver conchos. Each carries a hand-formed S-shaped swirl soldered onto its surface, creating raised dimension and a strong repeating motif throughout the bracelet.
The silver is oxidized and brought back to a high polish, leaving darker definition within the recessed areas while the raised surfaces retain their brightness.
Studio Process
This bracelet is bench-forged silver, constructed component by component at the Sterling Roots studio.
Each straight bezel is individually formed for its rainbow moonstone and assembled onto an extended sterling silver backplate. The oval conchos are formed separately before individual S-shaped swirls are shaped and soldered onto their surfaces.
The moonstone settings and conchos are then joined through individual sterling silver jump rings to create the articulated chain. A hand-forged sterling silver clasp completes the bracelet, carrying the studio's bench work through every structural and functional element.
