Robin’s Egg Blue Turquoise Hand-Forged Sterling Silver Ring

This one-of-a-kind ring features an elongated oval of genuine robin’s egg blue turquoise set in hand-forged sterling silver. Built in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, the design is intentionally simple, allowing the clear blue color and elongated form of the turquoise to remain the focus. A straight bezel creates a clean perimeter around the stone, while a single sterling silver shank maintains the ring’s minimal profile.

Form & Proportion

The elongated oval turquoise creates a graceful north-south presence across the finger. Its bright robin’s egg blue coloring stands in contrast to the clean sterling silver setting, while the single shank keeps the overall form restrained and wearable. With no unnecessary adornment, the proportions and natural character of the turquoise define the piece.

Materials & Method

Forged from solid sterling silver, the ring is formed, soldered, and refined entirely at the bench. A straight bezel is individually shaped around the genuine turquoise cabochon, providing a secure setting with crisp, understated lines. The stone setting is then joined to a single sterling silver shank, creating a straightforward design grounded in traditional silversmithing.
