Scale & Substance

Measuring just over 2.5 inches in length, this pendant has a substantial vertical profile with layered construction that gives the piece depth from every angle. The extended backplate provides space for the forged silverwork to flow naturally around the stones, creating an elegant sense of movement without overwhelming the composition.

Its generous scale makes it a distinctive statement while remaining balanced for everyday wear.

Stone & Material Character

The upper portion of the pendant features a rough rainbow moonstone, left in its natural form to showcase its organic texture and subtle flashes of color. Below, a polished oval black onyx is secured within a gallery bezel, offering a rich, uninterrupted black surface that contrasts beautifully with the moonstone's rugged character.

Hand-forged sterling silver swirls extend across the layered backplate, weaving through the composition and visually connecting both stones. The oxidized finish enhances the sculptural details and creates depth throughout the silverwork.

Studio Process

This pendant is bench-forged silver, constructed through extensive handwork at the studio bench. The layered backplate is fabricated to create dimension before each stone is individually fitted to its setting. The black onyx is secured within a handcrafted gallery bezel, while the rough rainbow moonstone is carefully positioned to preserve its natural shape and character.

The free-formed sterling silver swirls are forged and shaped by hand before being integrated into the composition, resulting in a pendant that balances structure, movement, and lasting craftsmanship.
