Scale & Substance

The pendant carries a strong vertical presence, with two distinct stone settings stacked in alignment. The composition is substantial enough to stand alone, while the spacing and proportion maintain clarity and balance.

A larger bail reinforces the scale, allowing the piece to pair with heavier chains and sit with intention at the chest.

Stone & Material Character

At the top, an oval Royston turquoise introduces natural matrix and tonal variation, secured in a serrated bezel that enhances its rugged surface.

Below, a heart-shaped orange spiny oyster brings warmth and contrast, set in a scalloped bezel that adds dimension and depth. Sterling silver bead accents create separation between elements, while feather details partially wrap each stone—introducing movement and directional flow throughout the composition.

The oxidized finish deepens contrast, allowing both stone color and silver detailing to stand forward.

This pendant is bench-forged silver, constructed through layered handwork at the studio bench. Each bezel is formed to its stone, while the feather elements are sculpted and integrated into the structure to maintain continuity.

The composition is assembled with precision—balancing stone placement, spacing, and alignment to achieve a cohesive vertical form. The bail is formed to support larger chains, completing the piece with both function and presence.
