This hand-forged sterling silver chain link bracelet features elongated paperclip links, each individually worked with a variety of straight-stamped textures through the center. The changing stamped patterns give each link its own surface detail while maintaining the clean repetition and structure of the paperclip chain.
Finished in bright, shiny sterling silver and completed with a hand-forged clasp, this bracelet is built entirely at the bench in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools.
Form & Proportion
Elongated paperclip links create an open, linear profile around the wrist. Each link carries straight-stamped detailing through its center, with variations in the texture creating subtle changes from one link to the next.
The open-link construction also allows the clasp to connect at different points along the bracelet, making the fit adjustable for a wide range of wrist circumferences.
Materials & Method
Each paperclip link is individually formed from solid sterling silver before being stamped, assembled, soldered, and refined at the bench. Rather than repeating a single surface treatment throughout the bracelet, a variety of straight-stamped textures gives the individual links distinction while maintaining a cohesive overall form.
The bracelet is finished in shiny sterling silver to emphasize the stamped surfaces and clean lines of the hand-forged links.
