Sterling Opal Minimalist Sterling Silver Ring

This minimalist sterling opal ring features an oval cabochon secured in a plain, straight sterling silver bezel. The restrained setting keeps the opal’s shifting color central to the design.

A heavy single shank formed from half-round silver gives the ring a substantial profile while maintaining a clean structure. The sterling silver is finished with a high polish, creating a smooth contrast against the color and pattern within the cabochon.

The ring is currently a size 5.5 and may be sized up to a size 7 by request. All approved sizing adjustments are completed in the Sterling Roots studio before fulfillment. The ring cannot be sized smaller.

Hand-forged by Sterling Roots in the foothills of the Adirondacks, this ring combines substantial silver weight with a direct, minimally ornamented stone setting.

Sterling opal requires careful handling. Keep the ring dry and avoid prolonged contact with water, household chemicals, chlorine, cosmetics, heat, and abrasive surfaces. Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately when it is not being worn.
