This sterling silver and 18K gold bridge ring is a Signature studio work defined by asymmetry, structure, and material contrast. A wide hammered sterling silver band forms the foundation, shaped with an intentional irregular line along the sides and underside.
Spanning across the top, a raised sterling silver bridge supports an 18K gold bar accent — creating a layered composition of silver and gold. Built at the bench in our Adirondack studio, this is artisan silver jewelry shaped with clarity and controlled form.
Scale & Substance
This ring carries width and presence through its broad sterling silver band. The asymmetrical shaping introduces movement along the sides, while the top bridge creates a defined horizontal focal point.
The layered construction adds dimension without excess bulk, allowing the ring to maintain balance whether worn alone or within a stacked arrangement.
This is bench-forged silver built for structure and versatility.
Stone & Material Character
Forged in sterling silver and accented with 18K gold, this ring emphasizes contrast in both tone and surface.
The hammered silver band creates light-catching facets, adding subtle texture across the form. The oxidized finish deepens shadow within these facets, enhancing dimensional clarity.
The 18K gold bar sits cleanly along the bridge, introducing warmth and visual focus. The combination of bright gold and oxidized silver creates a defined interplay between materials — structured and intentional.
Studio Process
The sterling silver band was measured, cut, and forged at the bench, then hammered to create surface texture and asymmetrical form. The bridge element was shaped separately and soldered across the top of the ring.
An 18K gold bar was then positioned and secured along the bridge, aligned to maintain proportion and balance. Final oxidation and finishing refined depth, contrast, and surface detail.
This is disciplined metalwork shaped through traditional silversmithing techniques.
