Scale & Substance

Measuring approximately 1.5 inches, this pendant carries a grounded, substantial presence despite its compact scale. The heavier Argentium silver construction gives the piece both weight and dimensional depth, allowing the layered textures and raised details to remain visually prominent.

A large bail is integrated into the design to accommodate heavier handcrafted chains, reinforcing the pendant’s strong structural profile.

Stone & Material Character

This piece is defined entirely by its metalwork. Argentium silver forms the foundation, shaped with flowing river-like lines that move organically across the surface.

Dusted 18k gold textures are fused directly into the composition, introducing warmth and tonal contrast against the oxidized silver. Raised “river rock” silver accents create dimensional structure and reinforce the natural terrain-inspired character of the design.

The interaction between polished highlights, oxidized depth, and fused gold detailing creates movement throughout the pendant.

Studio Process

This pendant is bench-forged through extensive handwork at the studio bench. The Argentium silver base is formed and refined to establish the flowing structure, while the surface textures and dimensional river rock elements are shaped and integrated through controlled tool work.

18k gold is fused directly into the silver using heat and precision, creating the signature River Collection finish. Final oxidation and refinement emphasize depth, movement, and contrast across the pendant.
