Variscite Sterling Silver Earrings

These one-of-a-kind sterling silver earrings are built with movement, geometry, and dimensional surface work. Triangular variscite stones are paired with asymmetrical diamond-inspired silver forms, creating a composition that balances structure and flow through intentional placement and forged detail.

Positioned within the Signature tier, these earrings reflect refined bench-forged silver work and a distinctive sculptural presence.

Scale & Substance

Measuring approximately 2 inches in length, these earrings carry a noticeable presence while maintaining a balanced, wearable profile. The elongated geometric forms create vertical movement, while the asymmetrical arrangement introduces visual rhythm across the pair.

The design allows the earrings to move naturally while retaining a strong architectural structure.

Stone & Material Character

Each triangular variscite stone displays its own natural variation in color and pattern, creating individuality within the pair. The stones are secured in scalloped bezels, adding texture and dimensional depth around the settings.

Behind each stone, an asymmetrical diamond-shaped sterling silver backplate extends the composition. Hammered facets throughout the silver surface catch and reflect light, creating movement and variation across the metalwork.

The stones are positioned opposite one another, creating a mirrored flow that enhances the overall design.

Studio Process

These earrings are bench-forged silver, constructed through detailed handwork at the studio bench. Each geometric backplate is hand-cut, formed, and textured with hammered facets to create depth and light interaction.

The scalloped bezels are formed specifically for the variscite stones, then integrated into the composition with careful attention to balance and alignment. The final structure reflects precision, movement, and dimensional craftsmanship.
