Wild Horse Jasper Dimensional Scalloped Sterling Silver Pendant

This one-of-a-kind pendant features an oval Wild Horse Jasper cabochon set in hand-forged sterling silver. Built in our Adirondack jewelry studio using traditional silversmithing tools, the naturally patterned stone is surrounded by a three-dimensional scalloped bezel that creates a strong, defined perimeter. The raised silverwork adds depth around the jasper while allowing its earthy pattern and natural variation to remain the focus.

Form & Proportion

Measuring almost 1.25 inches in length, the pendant has a compact yet substantial presence. The classic oval form showcases the natural markings within the Wild Horse Jasper, while the dimensional scalloped edging extends beyond the stone to create texture, shadow, and a more sculptural profile.

Materials & Method

Forged from solid sterling silver, the pendant is formed and refined entirely at the bench. The three-dimensional scalloped bezel is individually built around the oval cabochon, creating a secure setting while adding depth and visible silverwork around the stone.

Traditional silversmithing techniques and intentional tool work define the finished piece, resulting in a pendant built for lasting wear.
