Hand-forged in the Adirondack foothills, this one-of-a-kind sterling silver statement pendant features a freeform piece of vibrant yellow and black dichroic glass. Its energetic color and shifting surface are framed within a scalloped bezel, while solid sterling silver beads along both the upper and lower edges bring additional dimension to the setting.

Measuring approximately 1.75 inches in length, the pendant combines strong color with substantial silver details in a compact statement form.

Form & Wearability

The freeform dichroic glass leads the composition, with vivid yellow and contrasting black creating a dramatic focal point. Its irregular outline is followed by a scalloped sterling silver bezel, adding texture around the perimeter without competing with the glass.

Solid sterling silver beads are positioned along both the top and bottom edges, creating weight and dimension around the setting while balancing its freeform shape.

This artisan sterling silver pendant is built individually at the Sterling Roots bench using traditional silversmithing tools and hands-on fabrication techniques.

Because the dichroic glass is freeform, its setting is individually fitted to follow its specific contours. The scalloped bezel provides a detailed frame, while solid sterling silver beads are positioned along the upper and lower edges as dimensional accents.

The finished design allows the intensity of the glass to remain central while the surrounding silverwork provides structure, proportion, and distinctly hand-built detail.
